OBJECTIVE: Add a social function to the Spotify application. It asks you to consider the components and features of a digital social community. Sharing content? Representing oneself on a profile page? Messaging back and forth? A general feed? You will do a deep dive into what features constitute a “social function” and then build out your version of a social function for Spotify, using the brand’s existing UI patterns (colors, type, shape, visual layout).

Intent: Spotify users are able to discover new music from their friends through a posting feature. These posts will essentially be in the form of prompts.

Ex: About to cook and looking for some slow tunes.

To add a personal element users will pair their prompt with a photo taken in real-time.

The user's friends will then be able to add their song recommendations to the post.
